Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 Review Bottom Line

Everything about the Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 is pretty much the same as the Reuleaux RX200S EXCEPT you can switch between dual-18650 battery and triple-18650 battery chassis that gives a maximum power of 150W or 200W, respectively. Personally, I think Reuleaux series by Wismec are one of the best vape mods and that is why they have done only few changes since DNA200.

In-Depth Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 Review:

The most anticipated new version of vape mod from the Reuleaux series is finally here, the Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3, designed by JayBo. Still, has the major design of the infamous Reuleaux RX200S vape mod but now features replaceable back cover for two or three 18650 batteries.

Design

Wismec-Reuleaux-RX2-3-Manual-Label

With a dimension of 50.1mm x 40.2mm x 88.7mm when using triple-18650 battery chassis, at first glance everything is exactly the same as the Reuleaux RX200S. But this vape mod is actually a little bit taller from its brother and versatility is its game. With a replaceable back cover, you can choose either from two cells with a maximum output of 150W / 6V or with three cells that reach 200W / 9V.

It still has the same features from the RX200S like the 0.96in OLED screen, which displays the Voltage Wattage, NiChrome, Titanium, Stainless Steel and 3 TCR modes. Upgradeable firmware to make the unit stay up to date and customizable logo to make your own one of a kind unit are also present on this device.

Reuleaux RX2/3

Performance

Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 Modular Box ModIt’s working and performing like every other Reuleaux series does – no flaw at all. Although it’s quite odd that the Reuleaux RX2/3 has similar attributes from its predecessor, Wismec has done a great job with their product that there’s no need to rush on changing the concept and unique style of it.

In my opinion, Reuleaux series by Wismec are one of the best vape mods and everyone loves it, and that is why they have done only a few minor changes in design since DNA200. I’ve been using the dual-18650 battery chassis on this unit for a week now, just because I’m so used to vaping the RX200S with its 3 batteries. With that being said, I had never experienced any problem while using this vape mod at all. For me, it’s so convenient and much easier to control the buttons. The unit will probably run out of juice in less than 12 hours if using the dual-18650 battery chassis and perhaps a day when using the triple-18650 battery chassis.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty similar to other Reuleaux series – simple and neat. In this package, you can get one Reuleaux RX2/3 unit, one Back Cover for 3 cells, one USB cable, a user manual and a warning card.

Reuleaux RX2/3 vs Reuleaux RX200S

A lot of features of the Reuleaux RX2/3 are pretty much the same from the Reuleaux RX200S. Except, you can switch between the new dual-18650 battery chassis with a maximum power of 150W or the signature triple-18650 battery chassis which has a maximum power of 200W. It’s also worth pointing out that the RX2/3 is much taller in size and the regulatory buttons are different from the RX200S.

I just purchased this mod. I keep trying to set it to TCR mode but when I hit the fire button is automatically reverts to VW and goes to 20 watts. I can adjust the watts and they will stay but I can’t get it to stay in any of the TCR modes. Anyone able to help me?

in powered- off state , keep presing the fire button and right regulatory button simultaneously, then you enter the TCR set Menu

press left or right regulatory button to chose either TCR M1, M2 and M3
      press fire button to confirm
use reg button to chose (increase or decrease)
keep pressing fire button to confirm

What types of coils are you using? I tried this too when first started vaping but soon found out you need nickel, titanium, or stainless steel( stainless on only some mods work) . If using kanthal it will not work at all !!!!! . You can buy pre built wires if you cant build or just buy a coil jig aka coil master for like 20 bucks on amazon which makes coil building simple as hell. I highly recommend the coil jig it wil save you money and time.

Its probably not your batts, its the ohms you are running. Ex a .4 will not go to 200 watts, its not needed as the volts would be to high. A .18 can go to 250 watts without a problem. So if you want to go higher in your wattage lower your ohms.

If you don’t use the correct batteries then the mod will fire at the safe amount of watts for the batteries you are using. My mate tried to fire his 120 cleito on lg hg2 cells which are safe at 0.25ohms his coil was 0.15ohms so he tried to fire it at a 100w and the device dropped it down to 74w. So in other words the mod was protecting him from blowing face off. So check to see if your batteries are suited to your coil you are trying to fire

Just bought this box a couple days ago. While I know an external chargers is best, the USB charging doesn’t always work. I’m beginning to wonder if the USB charging only works when the batteries are below a certain percentage of charge. Does anyone have any idea? Also have a new set of batteries in it and even with external charging, the battery percentage drops from 100% to 93% then 86% almost immediately. I’m using a TFV8 at 110 watts on the q4 coil. I bought this box because I work 14 hour days and was trying to find something durable that would last a whole day for me.

Are you using the dual battery set up or the triple. Also the usb port will charge to a point, but its main use is to update the mod.

Just bought this looking for something that would last all day. I’m a professional driver and work 14 hour days. The USB charging was a big selling point because in a pinch I could use that, but it only seems to work sometimes. I’m experimenting it seems like it will only charge via USB if the batteries are below a certain level. Anyone know for sure? Also I put brand new batteries in it and the levels drop to 93% then 86% almost immediately within a couple of hits. My IPV3li didn’t drain nearly as fast using the same TFV8 tank with q4 coil at 110 watts. I have brand new LG hg2, 3000 mah batteries and even when fully charged on my external it drops dramatically like that. Any ideas on that?

I am using the kangertech 1.5 coil. My watts are 15.3 but my volts are 4.34 which seems high too me. Does that seem correct?

i do not recommend you take it apart yourself but inside of the mod is a red wire that leads to the top of the batteries that breaks off its an easy fix once apart just a little bit of solder

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I was sold a defective mod, and I tried to get my money back / get a new mod from them through warranty and they have the worst customer service. They will NOT give you your money back or send you a new mod unless you pay $60 for shipping to CHINA. They are a rip off, worst customer service I have EVER received.

Help needed please. I have the Wismec Reuleaux Dna200. I’m looking for the best “dry herb” for cannabis consumption tank that goes on top. I was told ceramic one where the best.

I Googled for “top dry herb vape tank” and found a site that listed 10 dry herb tanks for under $45. Only problem was none of them where not compatible with the Temperature Control Mode. Any help on pointing me in the right direction would be most appreciated! Thank you.
