VaporFi New Mod Collection Review:
VaporFi added yet another set of box mods on the lineage of their VaporFi VOX, VAIO, and VEX family. This 3 new generation series has taken it by storm and made its way out to the public just this month, and they certainly have a lot of new features to look forward to. The 3 series provides users with 3 different options: Built-In Battery MODs, All-In-One Devices, and External Battery MODs.
The VOX Series
The VAIO Series
The VEX Series
The VOX Series
The VOX 40 and 80 TC mods have a brushed zinc alloy chassis and are both available in stainless steel and black color. The fire button sits flush with the body and prevents accidental firing. The VOX 40 and 80 TC has a spring-loaded 510-connector that allows any 22mm sub-ohm tank to sit flush at the top of the mod. Both have 0.96″ OLED display which you can’t help but notice for its gigantic screen, also it has a real time clock and a personalized screen saver feature.
Charging both VOX 40 and 80 TC is a simple matter of attaching the micro USB cable to the device and plug it into a computer or wall adapter. The mods feature pass-through vaping, so you can charge and vape at the same time.
Actually, the only difference between the VOX 40 and 80 TC are there sizes, wattage range, and built-in batteries.
Built-In Mega Battery
By upgrading to a 2200mAh battery in VOX 40 and 4000mAh battery in VOX 80, you’re sure to get a plenty of life out of this things. Many box mods in the market nowadays in this size range tend to have 1800 or less mAh, so this is really a leap for VaporFi. Plus, it keeps you from having to purchase batteries and external chargers, making it a user-friendly for new vapers.
I tried to ramp up both VOX 40 and 80 TC mods from their maximum ranges 40Watts and 80watts, respectively and didn’t get that overly hot experience onto both devices even after prolonged vaping. I admit, it got slightly warm at its maximum range, but both nothing near hot.
Speaking of temperature, both VOX 40 and 80 TC mods offers a Temp Control suite that supports Ni200 and Stainless steel coils, with both temperature range of 200-600°F.

Where to buy?
I recommend purchasing either the VOX 40 or 80 TC Mod directly from VaporFi. Buying from the manufacturer is always the safest option.
The VAIO Series
The VaporFi’s all-in-one series or VAIO consists of two different devices, the VAIO 75 and 80 TC Mod. With their built-in tanks no matter what your preferred vaping style is, whether you like little vaping, big vaping, mouth to lung vaping or direct to lung vaping, this two devices got you covered. Choose either from a built-in battery or removable battery device from this collection.
The VaporFi VAIO Collection has a built-in tank pre-installed right into the body of the mod. A tank window that lights up when vaping, is located at its front chassis in VAIO 80 and both sides for VAIO 75. It helps the user to see the status of the e-juice levels and it’s quite neat to look at.
Both VAIO 75 and 80 TC mods have tank connector included in the box, to utilize your personal favorite sub-ohm tank or RDA to be attached directly to the mods and used them instead of the built-in tank. The built-in tanks for both VAIO 75 and 80 TC mods has 3.5ml e-liquid capacity with top-fill design, airflow technology, and features CLOCC atomizers same technology used on kanger mods to prevent spitbacks. Featuring variable wattage and temperature control capabilities, the VAIO 75 and 80 TC is compatible with SS316L, Ni200, titanium, and kanthal coil types.
Aside from the difference in wattage range with only 5 Watts in gap, the two devices has also differences on battery capacity. The VAIO 75 requires 1 REMOVABLE 25A 18650 battery which is not included in the box. While the VAIO 80 has a BUILT-IN 2100mAh battery which can last a day or less, depending on how you vape. Regarding its differences, both devices have 0.15 to 3.0ohms for variable wattage, both are temp control devices and temp range is at 200-600°F with temperature resistance of 0.05 to 1.0ohms. For the VAIO 80, it has a pass-through feature, so you can charge it while vaping at the same time.
The vapor production is perfectly good for both devices at around 50W-60W. For me, that’s the sweet spot to vape these mods. But it depends on your preference and taste I just find it good on the temp. I do not recommend to ramp these mods to its maximum range with its built-in 0.25 coils; it may burn the coils. If ever you really want to push either of this mods to its maximum wattage, I recommend using sub-ohm tanks that can handle its wattage range: 75-80 watts. Perhaps something like the popular TFV8 Baby Beast or Joyetech Ultimo.

The VEX Series
Introducing VaporFi’s new line of external battery mods, the VaporFi VEX series. Providing external battery charging capabilities. The VaporFi VEX series provides power and reliability found very seldom in vape mods. The VaporFi VEX series has two devices on its collection, the VEX 75 and 150 TC Mods which support the ability to fire both RDA and sub-ohm tanks to perfection. A 0.96” OLED screen, displays all of the information like your ohms, volts, and amps in a stacked configuration; alongside with either temp control settings or variable wattage settings.
The VaporFi VEX 75 is a single external 18650 mod that runs with 1 25A 18650 battery and can fire low resistance coils providing voluminous clouds and excellent flavor. On the other hand, the VaporFi VEX 150 is a dual 18650 mod, which ramps up from 1 to 150 Watts of power and ensures us that it will fire any sub-ohm tank or RDA with ease. Both supports stainless steel, titanium, nickel, and kanthal atomizers. The VEX 75 and 150 TC mods are constructed in a brushed zinc alloy chassis and are both available in stainless steel and black color.
The performance of the VEX series is just astonishing. It was named as the newest and most powerful mods by VaporFi and it lives by its name. The performance and its ergonomic design was pretty well-made and polished that I can’t point out any issue as of yet. For protection, the VEX series and the other VaporFi’s new mod collection with external battery provides safety features such as over-charging protection, over-current and over-discharging protection for added safety.
