The Vapium Lite is one of the better choices for the frugal vaper because it offers a wide selection of temperatures and great vapor quality at a cheap price. It also has features that you would expect to see in more expensive vaporizers, like haptic feedback that allows users to know when it is finished heating without needing to look at the device. It also has a USB-C cable that recharges the Lite in a flash, an option that you won’t see in cannabis vapes that cost three times as much. If you want great vapor quality and a great feature list for under $100, then the Vapium Lite is for you.
- Very easy to use
- Portable and fairly stealthy
- Features an integrated pick tool
- Haptic feedback
- Includes a water pipe adapter
- USB-C cable charges very quickly
- Vapor flavor is just okay
- Short mouthpiece feels a little awkward
Vapium Lite Review
Vapium Lite Background
The Vapium Lite has the kind of name that might make experienced vapers balk, that’s okay, the Lite isn’t really designed for them, though they’re free to check it out. No, the Lite is designed for the newbie vaper and it has a lot of beginner-friendly features to make it more accessible.
It’s very easy to load, has preset temperature settings, and very clear labeling so there is no confusion about which button does what. Now that I think about it, those are features I would like to see in even the more advanced vaporizers. You can check out the rest of my Vapium Lite review to see if it has any other qualities the best dry herb vaporizers would do well to emulate.

How it’s Designed
At slightly over six inches tall and about four and a half inches wide, and with rounded edges, the Vapium is very portable-friendly, and will fit snugly into any pocket. It has a lot of user-friendly features that make it very approachable for first-time vapers, let’s start with the loading procedure.
It’s very simple, you just snap off the mouthpiece to expose the herb chamber, place your herb in the chamber, replace the mouthpiece and you’re good to go. The water pipe adapter is a nice touch but seems at odds with the design ethos of the light since it’s meant for beginners and adapters are usually meant for advanced vapers. So, it seems unlikely that it will get used all that often.
The raised rim of the mouthpiece section prevents any herb from spilling and makes loading easier. The power and temperature control buttons are big and clear enough that you can probably see them from outer space. The preset temperatures are clearly indicated on the device via labeling and LED lights, plus it has haptic feedback, which means that it vibrates when it’s ready. A stirring tool integrated into the base of the vape is a nice touch as well. Overall, every aspect of the Lite is simple and intuitive to use.
How it Performs
So, does the beginner friendliness extend to the vapor quality? In a way, the vapor quality is good but not amazing so it won’t be a revelation for new vapers and definitely won’t satisfy vaping veterans. The Lite has a silicon airpath, which keeps the vapor pure, but doesn’t do much for flavor. Neither does the plastic mouthpiece, both because of the material and because its short length isn’t the most comfortable.
Despite all those caveats, the relatively mild vapor quality should be good enough for newbies, and, at the very least, convince them that vaping is superior to smoking. The user experience should convince them too, because the Lite has a nice herb capacity of 0.33g and a speedy heat time of 45 seconds.
Battery: The Lite has an 18500 mAh battery that’s good for 10 to 12 sessions and the speedy USB-C cable charges it up in about an hour.
The Final Word
The Vapium Lite is pretty much perfect for beginners, which means that it does exactly what it sets out to do. It’s very easy to use and produces nice vapor, that probably won’t be enough for expert vapers but it’s not for them. So what standards should the Lite be judged by? Is it fair to hold it to the same standards as premium vapes? Or it should it be judged according to what it sets out to do?
That’s not an easy question to answer, judged against more premium vapes, it’s definitely lacking—except when it comes to user-friendliness that is. When judged as an introduction to the world of weed vaping, it fares much better. In this case, I would say that the choice is easy, if you’re new to vaping, this is a great place to start, if you’re a seasoned vaper, then try a more advanced vape. Simple as that.
