The Yocan Black Phaser Arc is a comfortable, ergonomic eRig for wax/dab, retailing at $100. It operates as a dab straw, dipping the coil into the extract container. It features a trigger activation button, RGB lights, and an OLED screen. Despite not being the cheapest, it stands out for its quality and intuitive design, making it a top choice among similar devices.
The Yocan Black ARC is an eRig that is compatible with wax/dab and retails for $100 (use coupon TVG for 10% off at vape-smart.)
It was released together with three other dab vaporizers- the Celestial, MAX, and ACE, which I have separate reviews for.
Design & Features
The ARC shares the same ergonomic form as the MAX when it comes to the trigger operation and the OLED screen, but this is a dab straw, meaning instead of loading the extract in the coil, you dip the coil that is located at the tip into the container.
The activation button is a trigger (that makes a lot of sense), and overall this vaporizer is very comfortable to hold and use.
It has RGB lights below and a little OLED display with plus/minus buttons on the sides.
The tip gets hot and boils any concentrate that is close enough, and the resulting vapor is inhaled upward through these two holes, and into the bubbler.
Bottom Line
Dab Straws gained popularity in the last couple of years, and it is becoming the “go-to” method for more and more users. At around $100, this is not one of the cheapest out there, but it is significantly better than most.
I have here a Lookah, the new XMAX I just reviewed, and a few others, and the Yocan is easily the best in the bunch.
I especially like the way it stands, unlike most that have to be held, and just the overall grip and trigger usage are intuitive and satisfying.
Yocan Black Review- Celestial vs MAX vs ARC vs ACE
Yocan just released a bunch of Concentrate vaporizers under their new sub-brand called Yocan Black. I've ordered and used all six of them, and there are some clear winners and clear losers in this lineup. In this video, I'll review & compare them so you'll know which one is worth getting and which ones to avoid.
