Design and Features

Design

The Wuukah is a portable dab rig that looks a little like the very first one, the Puffco Peak Pro. It has a similar pyramid shape, but it’s a little less stylish than the Peak. The Wuukah does have one standout stylish element though and it is one that you won’t see on any other portable dab rig, which is the huge LED screen on the base. The screen isn’t on the side like you would expect, rather it covers the entire top of the base. It’s an interesting design that is easy to see even when the bubbler is attached and filled with water. 

The screen itself looks pretty cool, sort of like a futuristic speedometer, but it is easy to read with clear indicators for the current temperature, puff counter, and battery level. Another cool thing about the screen is that it provides a subtle underlighting to the bubbler. It’s a pretty innovative design and if you’re worried about the water from the bubbler splashing or dripping onto the screen, there's no need. That is because the bubbler has a special design that prevents splashback and leaks. 

Another feature the Wuukah has that you won’t see in other portable rigs is the choice of three different nails. Just like in many e-nails, you have the choice of a ceramic nail, a titanium nail, and a quartz nail. That choice gives you an unprecedented level of customization in this category of concentrate vapes. But it doesn’t stop there. You also get precise temperature control, something no other rig currently has. That is controlled by a pair of plus and minus buttons that are situated over the power button on the base of the device. In a cute touch, the buttons combine to look like a smiley face. They are located just below the easily accessible USB port.

The nails are all easy to attach and the bubbler fits snugly onto the base so assembly is quick and easy. Overall, the Wuukah has some nice design flourishes that make it stand out from the pack.

Features

The large LED screen on the top surface of the base, the precise temperature control, and the choice of three different nails are the features that make the Wuukah unique among the increasing number of portable dab rigs.

How to Use

1. Press the power button five times to turn on the device.
2. Use the plus and minus buttons to select the temperature.
3. Attach your choice of nail to the atomizer.
4. Pour water into the bubbler up to the marking line.
5. Place the water bubbler firmly onto the base of the vaporizer making sure that the inlet hole is aligned with the atomizer.
6. Dab your wax into the nail.
7. Place the carb cap over the nail.
8. Press the power button three times to start heating.
9. When the heating indicator turns green, inhale from the mouthpiece.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The nails are cleaned using one of the cotton swabs that has been dipped in isopropyl alcohol. It is then used to wipe down the inner surface of the nail. Ideally, this should be done while the nail is still warm so that any leftover residue doesn’t harden and become more difficult to clean. The bubbler is cleaned by pouring some iso alcohol into it and then swishing it around. After pouring out the alcohol, rinse out the bubbler with warm water.

Performance and Vapor Quality

Performance

The Wuukah heats up quickly as all the other portable dab rigs do, but the choice of nails gives it an edge in that regard. That is because the titanium and quartz nails heat up quickly, which makes them the choice for impatient vapers who might find the ceramic nails present in other portable rigs to be too slow.

Vapor Quality

The vapor quality is great overall but it’s the best with the ceramic and quartz nails because they are neutral materials that don’t have any effect on the flavor of the concentrate. That means their vapor is purer than that of the titanium nail which has a slight metallic aftertaste. Precise temperature control means that you are able to tailor the vaping experience to match your preferences. I prefer the lower settings because they produce more flavorful vapor despite the thinner clouds, but if it’s big clouds you want, then feel free to crank up the temperature. 

Battery Performance

The Wuukah has a powerful 3200 mAh battery that can last for a while before it needs to be recharged. When it does need to be recharged, the USB-C cable ensures that it goes much faster than the rigs that use standard USB cables.
