Design and Features

General Design: The ASAP Rocky vape pen already has a sleek, ergonomic shape, but what really puts it over the top when it comes to style is the wood grain style finish. It gives the pen an extra touch of class and sophistication that you don’t see in other vape pens, not even the other ones made by KandyPens themselves. The style doesn’t end with the vape pen since the useful carry case is a good-looking piece of kit in its own right.

The finish is available in four different types of wood, and all of them look great contrasted against the gold trim on the mouthpiece and middle of the device. It’s versatile, too, since the two included atomizers are easy to switch out. If you’re in the mood for a different type of extract, the oil tank is readily available. 

Portability: Vape pens never have any problems with portability and the Flacko Jodye vape pen doesn’t buck that trend. You can fit it in your pocket and take it with you wherever you want. This time, you have the optional carrying case if you want to take the pen and all of its accessories with you as well.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The ceramic coil is easier to clean since you just need a q-tip soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean it out. The dual quartz coil can be cleaned the same way, but it’s a more painstaking process. For really stubborn stains, you can soak the atomizers in a shallow amount of iso alcohol.

How to Use

1. Screw your choice of atomizer onto the battery of the vape pen.
2. Dab your wax onto the coil and then screw the mouthpiece onto the atomizer.
3. Press the power button five times to turn on the device.
4. Press the power button three times to toggle the preset temperatures.
5. Once you have selected a temperature, hold down the power button while inhaling from the mouthpiece.

When using the oil tank or a pre-filled cartridge, just screw it onto the battery, select a temperature, and get vaping. Simple as that, though you need to fill the oil tank first of course.

Performance and Vapor Quality

Vapor Quality: The vapor quality is great with either coil, but I prefer the ceramic one. It heats up more slowly and provides a smoother, cooler vaping experience. It does so even at the higher selections, but I prefer to use the two middle settings.

The dual quartz coil produces bigger clouds, but also hotter, harsher vapor to go along with it. If you’re going to use this one, then I suggest you stick to the lower temperature settings. You can still get good flavor and nice clouds without the vaping experience getting too uncomfortable.

The oil tank and pre-filled cartridges work well with the ASAP Rocky vape pen but the flavor depends on the quality of the oil or of the cartridges.

Battery Performance: The Flacko Jodye vape pen uses a 650 mAh battery that can go for a few days of casual vaping before it dies. When it does, it only takes about an hour to bring it back to life.
