I like how I can take the Pulsar APX Wax anywhere and vape whenever I’m ready. It offers an impressive level of convenience, though it comes at the cost of customization. The vapor is a little strong for my liking, but those who like their vapor that way might like the APX Wax.
The Ambit is an inexpensive portable dry herb vaporizer that offers a fair value for its price. It features precise temperature control, OLED screen, and extended functionality, with a water filtration option. Its performance is basic and enough for short sessions mostly, satisfying as an entry-level experience, but advanced users will not be impressed.
For vaping on the go, the HoneyStick MiniMax Pro is an affordable and reliable option that’s compact and discreet. What sets it apart from your every day vape is the button-activated switch that flips your cartridge out from inside the unit. Considering its size and quality, the HoneyStick MiniMax Pro has good battery life with a USB compatible charger that makes it a breeze to juice up. For festivals, travel or simply just discreet vaping with the click of a button, the HoneyStick MiniMax Pro is an easy to use vape for the budget conscious buyer.
The Yocan Dive is a good way for beginners to try concentrate straws for the first time. It is very easy to use, discreet, portable, and produces good vapor. Everything a newcomer to the world of nectar collecting could want. Veterans of this vaping style are likely to be less impressed due to the lack of precise temperature selection and vapor quality that is good, but not great. Even so, the affordability of the Dive makes it a great first choice for beginners.
The Atmos Studio Rig is a nice starting point for anyone getting into e-nails, but it’s not the best choice for veterans. That’s because the lone titanium nail included in the kit isn’t enough to satisfy the needs of hardcore extract vapers. So, I would say that the Studio Rig is more of a stepping stone to better e-nails.
Do you prefer wax, dry-herb or oil? If you are anything like me, by now you have realized that you really don’t have a preference and the one thing you really love is getting high. Whether you enjoy weed, wax, or oil, the Yocan Evolve is the right pen for YOU! Yes, that’s right, you can enjoy your vape in 3 different ways and if that is not enough, there is no wait time for your session since it heats up almost instantly.
I was pleasantly surprised about how the AirVape OM produces a good vapor from such a small device. It has a dual quartz coil as most standard vapes and is compatible with 510-threaded pre-filled CBD/THC carts. It has three voltage settings and features a 350 mAh battery that can last a day of moderate use. All in all, this is a nice ‘keychain’ vape for newcomers who are looking for an inexpensive way to start vaping, but if you’re looking for a vape that can provide fine-quality vapor, there are better options out there.
A wax vaporizer that’s geared for both beginners and experts, the Loaded is another versatile product from Yocan. However, it does heat up after several sessions – limiting its successive usage. It has conveniently hidden features that are interesting to tinker with- like a magnetic door for changing between coils.
If you love herb and wax, enjoy a stylish look, and prefer an uncomplicated vaporizer, then the Quant 2-in-1 Premium Vaporizer is what you have been looking for. This dual use vaporizer combines a classy look, a simple interface, and great vapor quality, especially when using dry herb. So don’t miss out on the Quant if you’re in the market for great vapor quality with a cool, luxurious design.
The Yocan Torch XL shares its functionality with its little brother, the Yocan Torch. Although similar, they’re differentiated by size and power. The Torch XL features an interchangeable quartz dual and triple coil atomizer, a glass cap for purer flavor, continuous heating, adjustable airflow, and variable voltage. With a feature list like this, any user would expect to shell out $$$, but the Yocan Torch XL is priced at only $75.
The Yocan Hive 2 improves on the original with a leak proof oil cartridge and more voltage options. All the great features of the original are still there too, like the oil and wax compatibility, convenient magnetic cartridges, and stealthy vaping. This 2 in 1 vaporizer is great for beginners, great for veterans, and just great in general!
I liked using the Yocan Trio because of how convenient it is to use. Sure, the vapor quality isn’t as good as it is with a specialized vaporizer, but no specialized vaporizer is this versatile. As long as you don’t expect stellar vapor quality, you will be more than satisfied with the Trio
The AirVape Xs Go is one of the cool-looking budget weed vapes I’ve tried so far. It’s simple and intuitive to use, and the five preset temperatures helped me calibrate my desired vaping profile. It offers a high-level of discreteness and decent performance packed in a compact and portable package. Overall, this is a viable travel vape or a ‘first vape’ for beginners who want to vape dry herbs without costing an arm and a leg.
The DaVinci Miqro is a dry herb vaporizer that’s stealthy and discreet. It has features that are unique for a device in its price range such as a zirconia airpath, an LED interface, and DaVinci’s proprietary Smart Path settings. The Miqro definitely sits in the balance between portability and performance
VLeaf Go by Vivant is a dry-herb pen suitable for beginners looking for a budget-friendly vaporizer. However, the faulty mouthpiece design makes it hard for me to recomand it. It is an entry-level convection vape, but it will not be long-lasting. I suggest investing a bit more in a higher quality product.
The Easy Grinder is easily—pun intended—one of my favorite electric grinders. Its grinder performance is nearly as good as the better manual grinders and it can hold a decent amount of herb. Whether you’re into joints, bowls, or vaporizers, the Easy Grinder will serve you well.
The Flash provides a very strong vapor quality with a lot of clouds. The huge Ceramic coil is easy to load, and the glass enclosure makes it easy to monitor the coil while vaping. The relatively low price and great overall performance make the Flash a solid all-around wax vaporizer.
The Atmos Electro Dabber is an impressive feat of engineering that manages to combine a vape pen and a concentrate straw into one handy device. This is perfect for vapers who enjoy chilled out home sessions but also like to vape on the go, now they don’t need to buy two different vaporizers. This versatile wax vaporizer is perfect for all the extract aficionados out there.
Source is known to make products for advanced users that know exactly what they want from a vape, and the Versa is no different. It has a powerful battery, precise temp control, and XL coils that can hold a large amount of extract. It has a familiar eRig shape, yet it is more versatile from most. But is it better? We’ll let you know once we get our review unit and test it.
The Vive is a dual functionality vape, compatible with wax or oil carts. It’s a sleek and discreet device, with a magnetic cover and three temp levels. Source has been quiet for the last couple of years with no new releases. Is this their comeback? We’ll let you know as soon as we get our review unit.
The newest desktop vaporizer from Arizer comes after 15 years of research and development. It comes with a full suite of accessories, including some Arizer signature glass pieces. While it has yet to arrive for a full review, here’s everything we know so far…
