Kanger CUPTI Review Bottom Line

Kanger CUPTI is an All-in-One 75W TC mod with built-in tank with CLOCC atomizer feature. It is based on kangertech’s very first temperature control device the NEBOX and it addresses the leakage problem that the NEBOX had. The Cupti did not show signs of leakage. Performance is great and clouds are enormous. Good choice!

In-Depth  Kanger Cupti Review:

Kangertech’s latest device the all in one temperature control, Kangertech CUPTI Starter Kit. It is based on kangertech’s very first temperature control device the NEBOX. And Kanger did address the leakage problem that the NEBOX had – where the NEBOX filled from the bottom which was the source of the eJuice leakage problem.

First Impression

Kanger Cupti InstructionThe CUPTI has a wattage range of 70 to 75W and in Temperature Control mode has a range of 200 to 600°F (100-300°C). Power adjustments are in 0.1-watt increment and temperature adjustment is 10°F / 5°C.

CUPTI has Three ButtonsOne is the firing button which is on the front side at the most top for easy use. The other Two are the temperature increase and decrease button (‘+’ and ‘–‘) which are on the top of the unit between the display and 510 threaded pin. A single 18650 battery powers the CUPTI and Kanger does include a charging cable that connects to the device via micro USB cord at the bottom of the unit. The battery door is spring loaded which is located at the bottom of the device. Kanger includes a wide bore drip tip installed on the device, the stainless steel coil pre-installed inside the device. They also included a second drip tip which is significantly smaller or otherwise known as a standard 510 driptip, a Nichrome coil, your charging cable and a pretty comprehensive manual which shows you about how to fill it, changing your coils and gives you all the specs of this unit, etc.

Vapor Quality

Kanger Cupti

The CUPTI is a solid performer it produces a solid amount of vapor and the flavor from the Stainless Steel coil is rich and full. The buttons work well, the display is crisp and easy to read especially it’s on the top of the unit, switching between coil types, temperature control, and variable wattage modes are simple and intuitive. There was a gurgling noise and spatter of eJuice at first used but it will subside if frequently used.

Features

Kangertech gave the CUPTI pretty decent features. It will fire a wide range of coils and temp control, and has that maximum power output of 75W, 2 coils are included in the box – that is the 0.5Ohm Stainless Steel CLOCC and a 1.5Ohm Ni-chrome CLOCC. It’s worth pointing out that Kanger is also going to release a CLRBA “CHILD LOCK Rebuildable Atomizer” for the CUPTI.

Kanger Cupti OLED Display

I do like the placement of the LCD Display on the top of the device, makes it really easy for me to see when vaping. And the adjustment buttons on top makes it resistant from pressing accidentally the temperature settings and etc,

Kanger includes a charging cable which is good but they put that micro-USB port at the bottom of the device which makes it impossible to have it charging on sitting upright – you have to lay it down to charge.

Leakage-Free

Kanger Cupti Max Fill

At first, I was in doubt that CUPTI will have the same leakage problem like it did on NEBOX. However, I have used this unit for 3 weeks now and there’s been no sign of leaking at all. I also feared that the micro-USB port on the bottom of the device can cause seepage when charging since the placement of the port is on the bottom, you have to charge the CUPTI laying one side. Plus, it has an internal tank and it can’t be remove – chances are? You might have some eJuice running while charging it.

BUT I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCE ANY LEAKING OR WHATSOEVER EVEN WITH THE CUPTI LAYING ON IT SIDE OVERNIGHT WITH EJUICE ON THE TANK.

If you’re looking for an all-in-one temperature control device but cut-off by criticism of the NEBOX, the CUPTI maybe just the thing you are waiting for. My Cupti keeps gurgling and spitting e-juice, and I’m not sure how to fix it. No matter what I do, it keeps doing it. Making it painful to use due to the hot juice being spurted from the mouth piece. But I love it when it’s working! Can someone help with the spitting and gurgling issue? Thanks in advance!

When it starts spitting, turn it upside down for about 30-60 seconds. Some e-liquid may or may not drip out the mouth piece, but it usually solves the issue either way.

Another issue that occurs alot to me is that it starts tasting burnt.
if this happens, open the ecig, like when you are about to refill, then screw it back on.

yet another issue is when it starts showing check battery no matter how much you charge it.
I solved this by emptying the ecig of liquid, and then cleaning the battery, the coil.. basically all the lose parts, and refilling it half-way up to the max marker (first time only)

I’ve had mine for 3 weeks now with no leaks and will be changing out the coil for the 1st time. The gurgling has been happening to me as well when i refill with juice. I’ve found the perfect solution for me is…I roll a piece of paper towel and roll it tight. I twist it while lowering it down the drip tip so it can absorb the the juice that’s inside the coil. I normally have to do this twice and the gurgling is resolved.

I use Cupti for more than 1 month and after a lot of tries of other mods especially with separated tank and battery, the Cupti is the best of the best 🙂 No leak, no more problem to change the battery (usually the tank’s screw doesn’t fit with the battery after a while like two weeks..), and buttons are very well placed.
Definitively, the Cupti is the best way to stop the poison working with fire.

I’ve had mines and it works great. To fix any gurgling. (Which usually happens after refilling or changing coils) simply hold the fire button down and blow through the cupti ( make sure air flow is wide open). This will release excess juice not being absorbed by the cotton and should fix the gurgling. In a matter of seconds. May have to blow hard 2-3 times. Easy fix. Best all in one vape on the Market in my opinion.

Im Just wondering, why did KangerTech make the cupti a 75 watt unit if you can only use 30 watt wicks. Is there something i dont know ?
Does anyone sell other wicks that can go higher than 30 watts.
    Please guide me.
    Thanks all.

I have had this CUPTI for some time now, when the tube is screwed in it puts pressure in the tank that over saturates the cotton. I simply shake it in a sweeping motion over the sink to get the excess out. Takes only a few seconds and then hits fine.
