KandyPens C-Box 510 Battery Review

9.4 Total Score
Bottom Line

510 threaded batteries seem to be a dime-a-dozen these days, there are so many that it can be difficult to know which one to choose. The KandyPens C-Box is a great option because it has the portability and ease of use of most oil vaporizers and 510 batteries, as well as a range of options that they lack. These options include different sized magnetic adapters and four different voltage settings. There is even a Pro version with a larger receptacle for those bigger tanks. So, if you’re tired of looking for a 510 battery, then just choose the KandyPens C-Box, you won’t go wrong if you do.

KandyPens C-Box Review

KandyPens C-Box Background

The KandyPens C-Box 510 Battery is a convenient way to use pre filled oil and CBD cartridges. C-box stands for concealer box, so this battery is made with discretion in mind. Of course, it’s a KandyPens product, so it still stands out, just not as much as their flashier vapes.

Convenience and good looks are offered by many of the Best Oil Vaporizers, so does the C-box have anything new or different to offer? You’ll find out in the rest of my KandyPens C-box review, so keep reading to find out more about this latest entrant in the field of 510 batteries.

  • KandyPens C-box 510 battery
  • Two sets of magnetic thread adapters
  • Micro USB cable

How It Is Designed

KandyPens c-box 510 battery design

The C-box has a nice, sleek design that feels good in the hand.

The C-box stands three inches tall, has a rounded rectangular shape that feels good to hold, and easily slips into a pocket or purse, so the concealer part of the name is well-earned. It’s a fairly attractive device, not KandyPens’ prettiest, but still good-looking. It’s very easy to use because it has a single button to control everything.

The 510 thread adapters are a cool touch because you can interchange them easily thanks to the magnetic connection, just slip one into the adapter receptacle when it’s vaping time. There are two sets of them, one shorter pair and one longer pair. This allows you to choose how far you want the cartridge to stick out when it is attached to the adapter. This is a nice piece of customization that you don’t often see in oil vaporizers or 510 batteries.

KandyPens C Box Pro
C-Box Pro: The only difference between the regular C-Box and the C-Box Pro is that the Pro has a larger diameter chamber of 10.55 mm whereas the regular C-Box has a 9.6 mm diameter chamber. This means the C-Box Pro can use larger diameter tanks like CCells. The C-Box Pro also costs $49.95 vs. $44.95 for the C-Box, otherwise, they are identical.

How It Performs

KandyPens c-box 510 battery with goldline cartridge

The C-box offers great performance no matter what brand of cartridge you use with it.

The C-box is a nice change from the pen style design of a lot of 510 batteries and it feels a little different from the other box style vaporizers because of its more rectangular design. The end result is that it feels really good to hold and to vape from, no matter which of the magnetic adapters you use. As for the performance, it works great with all of the various cartridges I used, from the Hemp Bombs CBD Oil Cartridges to the Sun State CBD 510 Cartridges to the GoldLine 510 CBD Cartridges.

The C-box brings out the full flavor of any good CBD or oil cartridge you use with it. The four voltage levels also offer an additional level of customization since you can choose how intense you want the vaping experience to be. It never gets too harsh even at the higher levels, but if you’re new to vaping, you might want to keep to the lower levels. Experienced vapers can get the big clouds they enjoy by choosing the higher voltage settings.

The 390 mAh battery lasts all day and the micro USB cable offers more flexibility (literally) than the screw in chargers you get with most of the pen-style batteries.

The Last Word

The KandyPens C-Box 510 Battery is a great way to vape your CBD and oil cartridges and offers a great alternative to the pen style batteries that are so pervasive these days. It offers a comparable level of portability and simplicity to those batteries, while also giving users a high degree of customization.

The two sets of magnetic adapters allow users to choose how far they want the cartridge to protrude from the battery. The voltage settings allow you to tailor the intensity of the cartridge to the level they want. It can handle any type of oil or CBD cartridge you (figuratively) throw at it with aplomb. It’s a great choice for both vaping beginners and vaping veterans because of all the customization options. The C-box is a little pricier than some of the pen style 510 batteries but, in this case, you definitely get what you pay for.

You can get the C-Box directly from KandyPens for $44.95, and make sure to use our exclusive KandyPens coupon code TVG25 for a 25% discount.

KandyPens C-Box 510 Battery Review

A sleek, highly customizable 510 battery

A huge proponent of the vaping lifestyle who would love it if everyone who smokes makes the switch to vaping instead. Loves CBD and would like to see it infused into everything. Aside from the world of vaping, he also loves reading, health & fitness, gadgets & technology, and culture, both the pop and regular kind.

  1. The C-Box would probably be great if the opening for the cartridge was .5 ml. wider. It is too narrow for Select or Chemistry cartridges and probably many others.

  2. Pro version required for Curaleaf cartridges.

  3. How do you use it? Does keeping the button pressed heat the cartridge until you release it, while simultaneously sucking in?

Or is it a preset hearing time like 5 to 8 seconds then inhale when the preset heating time ends?

    • You can do both. Press while you vape, or press twice to enter “Sesh mode” where it stays on for ten seconds (or until you hit the button again).
