eLeaf iPower Features:

5000mAh Battery Life

With its built-in 5000mAh battery you can vape all day with no problem charging it. I’ve been using the iPower 80W for several days now, using my Joyetech Ultimo at 70W to see how long the battery last and by surprised every time at the end of the day, I have a little bit of power left – No Issue with it at all. Thou, the charging time will take a little while for it has only a max current of 1Amp.

Temp Control and TCR mode

iPower TC modes

The Temp Control of iPower is compatible for Ni200 (Nickel), Ti (Titanium), and SS (Stainless Steel) coils with a minimum resistance of 0.05Ω ranging all the way up to 1.5Ω. Adjusting the temperature between 100 and 315°C (200 to 600°F) will make sure that your vaping experience is free from dry hits and will also aid in energy-saving. It also has TCR mode that allows users to set, and adjust, up to three memory slots.

Smart Mode

eLeaf iPower Mod

The Smart Mode will save one output power setting for each resistance value and can totally save up to ten output settings. Once you change the output power setting for a resistance, it will re-save the changed setting automatically. When the Smart Mode has already remembered ten output settings and you want to add another one, the first save output setting will be deleted. When set in this mode, the device can support a coil whose resistance is within the range of 0.1 Ω to 3.5Ω

In Smart Mode, its wattage can be adjusted from 1 to 80W. But can only be adjusted when an atomizer is installed on the device. With this new technology, this can make vaping easier only if you always change atomizers every now and then. It doesn’t make any sense if you only have one dedicated atomizer on hand.

Chassis

iPower 80w TC Colors

The size of the iPower is 49.5 x 23.5 x 83.5mm and constructed out of heavy-duty aluminum to present a perfect balance between weight and durability. The iPower 80W also has a fashionable looking design and comes in many attractive colors for your options – this includes Grey, Wood Grain, Bronze, Brushed Silver, and White.

iPower 80w DimensionOther features include a standard onboard Micro-USB charging which is on the bottom of the device, Firmware upgradeable and customizable logo on the welcome screen.

What I think

Overall, I really like this device. I only found one CON and a lot of PROS on this device. I highly recommend the iPower 80W TC for any Vapers, new or advanced, who are into mods with only 80W max. It’s a good looking, beautiful, and simple mod to have. You can also take a look from my top picks this year.

PROS:

  • 5000mAh Capacity for Long Sustainable Battery Life
  • Upgradeable Firmware with Smart/Logo Mode
  • High Output Power of 80W
  • Dual-Circuit Protection
  • Light-weight and easy to use in the hand

CONS:

  • Onboard Micro-USB charging is on the Bottom

The bottom charger is actually fine since you can set it on the edge of a desk so it doesn’t have to be on its side.

just aquired this boxmod after a 2 year stint with a flawless performing iStick50 who’s batteries got a bit lazy the last few weeks and ran hot.
THE iStick power 80w is nothing short of amazing, however i am ‘just’ using it as a vw device as my sweetspot is and has always been 0.3ohms at 35watt with a dualcoil kanthal loaded Wismec Bambino.
I bought the device through eLeaf UK last month when they had a super sale with 30% off.. paid 39 euro’s and thats including 9.90 euro for s/h

can’t say a bad thing about it LOVE LOVE LOVE it. power to vape habit ratio is superior to any device i have ever tried. I vape like a boss all day and have 50% left at night when i go sleep.

    GREAT JOB eLeaf

I do not usually buy eleaf products. I have had a kangertech, tesla and a smok. This is probably the best mod I have had. I use the crown uwell tank and the flavor is amazing. Battery last all day and I am constantly vaping. You have a new loyal customer eleaf!

Simply. amazing. Finally, a vape that I can count on. Very smooth, and the “smoke” that comes out is believable. I don’t even think about cigarettes now and it is awesome. This machine is great and stays charged for a long time. I vape often and I still have plenty of battery life at the end of the day. Only downside is the charger on the bottom, but honestly, that isn’t even a big thing! Well done, Eleaf! New customer right here.

I have one minor gripe with this device, it seems to have an automatic “sleep” feature after some seconds, which then you will have to press the power button once to wake it up before you can vape again. I am not sure how long it takes but I fount myself taking “empty” hits quite often and I can’t find any settings for the timer, anyone has a clue on this? Whiles I love the device and this is just a minor issue, it can be a bit annoying.

I’m having issues with mine. I use the Uwell crown tank. Ive had this mod for about 2 weeks now and I’ve burned through 4 replacement coils for the tank. Sometimes when I’m taking a hit, the power cuts off leaving me with almost no vapor. It worked great for about three days and now I dread using it. I only vape at 60 watts for the 0.25 dual coil in the Uwell crown and I’m getting a burnt cotton throat burn. I tried turning it down to 50 watts and now it’s a cold miserable experience. I don’t recommend this

the power 80 is a great unit bur with extremely weak soldering jobs.. do not expect it to survivw even a 2 foot fall and that good ol 90 day warranty will not cover it if there ia even the slightest evidence that it was dropped..mine was declined due to a thumbtack scratch that was unrelated to the 2foot drop that killed it..a scratch placed there because a coworker has the same unit.. now if i can find a small enuff tool to open it up and attempt to fix it..yeah..probably has a chinese laminated saran wrap battery glued to the inside of the case that will come apart as i open it..ill find out in a minute…well..again we get what we pay for..find a rubber encasement for it..or you will wish you had..

I use The KangerTech Top Fill Mini. It is an unbelievably great tank, that is a better price then most that are comparable. Trust me, you will NOT regret this tank purchase. It comes with 3 different types of coils. All are great and the top fill is so convenient. It’s made with great quality metal and craftsmanship. I bought the tank for 49.00 bucks 7 months ago for a Tesla 2 box mod. Once I bought my I stick power I just threw the tank on it and it mates like a charm.

I am a US user and have this mod….. TC is the best for this little mod… I use starre tanks with Kanthal and Nickel coils, the mod handle very well… Been reading comments and the cons on this are little compared to the pros!!! If your looking for a low range mod this is for you!!! Works the best with low ohms coils… if you use anything higher than 1.0 the wattage will not go over 50 watts to protect the coil… its preset into it!!! I recommend to everyday users!!

I’m a noob vaper. I got my first mod about a month ago. It was a wismec rx mini. The battery life sucked and it ran cold. I was having to charge it 2-3 times a day. That mod got stolen so I went to my local vapor specialty shop and looked around. Got some awesome help and decided on the eleaf istick power with an aspire tank. First thing I would say about this is I purchased it on a Saturday and didn’t have to charge it until Monday night. I’m an ex smoker so I vape like crazy. Couldn’t believe how long the factory charge lasted. It produces amazing flavor and the clouds are nice and thick. I don’t know much about how adjusting all the different settings and what not so I just left it on the settings it has from the factory. I only play around with the wattage. Depending on the juice, I run it at 45-55 watts. I give this mod a rating of 5/5. Perfect for any beginner such as myself. A++++

horrible product worked ok at first then stopped charging the not firing then the outer casing started to chip and mark very easy the device is very poorly made 0% customer services even asking me to send picture proof and video evidence all i was advised was back to seller .
If you want a Dependable device do go with ileaf check the socila media facebook feed either the devices are blowing up leaking not charging and many more problems dont go with this company they offer nothing when the device starts to fall apart

I have been vaping for 3 years now, had 2 previous Eleaf products and 1 Kangertech. The Eleafs are still going with little problems, the Kanger…not so good(the newest of the three) button problems and finish wears off too easy, my oldest Eleaf still looks like new compared to the 6 month old Kanger!. Just bought the Eleaf Powerstick and LOVE it!! Nice feel, nice construction and easy to use. Long lasting battery and great look. If it holds up like the older ones I’ll be thrilled. I use various Aspire tanks, but my favorite for the powerstick is the Nautilus X.
