Honey Dabber 2 Review ↓
Honey Dabber 2 Background
Welcome to our review of the Honey Dabber 2 ($35.95 from Vape-Smart). A concentrate straw device designed for travel and pocket-friendly use. Before we start, a honey straw is a device used for dabbing where one end is heated and placed directly into a container of wax. There is no loading of chambers involved. The heated end simply vaporizes the wax from its container, then you draw the vapor through the device like a straw, hence the name – concentrate straw.
The cherry wood build for the Honey Dabber 2 feels solid and sturdy and gives the Honey Dabber 2 a good grip when you’re taking a dab.
The exterior of the Honey Dabber 2 has the honeycomb logo and the wooden sleeve has a strong magnetic connection for better keeping.
Just pull the sleeve off, dab, then slip it back on. The magnetically wooden sleeve lets you keep the Honey Dabber 2 stay safe in your pocket even when the heating tip is still hot.
Just pull the sleeve off, dab, then slip it back on.
Vapor Quality and Performance
For the vapor quality of Honey Dabber 2 expect to be smoother, cooler vapor since the vapor path either on the titanium or glass straw is five inches in length so in every hits the vapor has time to cool off.
For the Glass straw, it extracts essential flavors of your wax pretty well giving you no unpleasant flavor or odor. While the titanium straw conducts heat better so expect bigger and tastier vapor.
How to use
When you dip the Honey Dabber 2 make sure to hold the heating tip tilted or it might suck up hot waxy oil into your mouth.
Regarding the swapping of heating tips, the silicone gripper located in the hole in the handle of the Honey Dabber 2 straw makes it really easy to remove or insert a new straw.
Honey Dabber 2 Bottom Line
Honey Dabber 2 is so compact and lighter than most concentrate straws or nectar collectors I reviewed. This makes it a very pocket-friendly device. Of course, you have to use a torch to heat the Honey Dabber 2 tip, which is not as convenient as a wax pen. So if torching will make you feel inconvenient then we’d recommend going with a vape pen instead. Check out my list of top wax pens.
