There can be many reasons why stars choose to vape, including kicking their smoking habit or finding a cleaner way to indulge in their dry herbs and concentrates. Regardless, we can all agree that celebrities have a way of setting up the newest trends for their fans – getting them excited to try whatever it is they are using.
If you haven’t gotten on board with the vaping scene yet, here is a list of 13 celebrities who may convince you otherwise. Maybe vaping will make you as cool as they are–okay it won’t–but at least you’ll have something in common.
1. Norman Reedus
To start us off, we have Norman Reedus – the actor known for his roles in Blade 2, The Walking Dead, and The Boondock Saints. It would appear that he is a huge fan of e-cigs and enjoys vaping with some of his other co-stars.
It’s not known what brand he uses but we can give him–and you–some recommendations from our Best E-cig list.
2. Wiz Khalifa
Just like with Snoop Dogg (later in this list), we have another rapper notorious for his love of the green stuff. Wiz Khalifa’s music production/record label group, known as the Taylor Gang, collaborated with Grenco Science to launch their own line of Micro G dry herb and concentrate vaporizers – literally.
They literally launched this thing into space – making it the first vaporizer ever to leave the earth.
3. Katherine Heigl
Katherine Heigl, known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Knocked Up isn’t private about her vaping habit and has frequently been seen vaping with her e-cig during interviews – including on the David Letterman Show.
Her reason for using e-cigs is identical to lots of people – to quit smoking and switch to something cleaner and more fun. Her vape of choice seems to be focused more on mods and mini e-cigs.
4. Samuel L. Jackson
It would be a crime not to put this bad mother (shut your mouth!) on our list. Samuel L. Jackson is well known for his roles in films like Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, and whatever movie you saw recently.
He has been seen vaping during performances (like the poetry slam event pictured) and is also an avid fan of vape mods. We are talking about HUGE vape mods – monstrosities to be exact. Perfect for billowing out huge vape clouds and drawing some mad attention in public.
5. Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp has appeared in many Tim Burton films including Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd as well as stealing the show in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series.
His vaping experience began on the set of The Tourist where he vaped on a mini e-cig which converted him into taking up vaping as a hobby. He is well known for vaping during press conferences and loves using vape mods.
6. DJ Khaled
Next on our list is DJ Khaled. He vapes as a hobby and even endorses his favorite line of vape pens – KandyPens. His music video for “The One”, featuring Justin Beiber, features the KandyPens Elite where he and another woman are seen vaping with it. He also supports some mad KandyPens merch and is a diligent brand ambassador.
The KandyPens Elite is a seriously impressive vape pen with a white and rose gold finish, compatibility with wax and concentrate, and a temperature controlled battery. This thing oozes luxury, trust us on that.
7. Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio is known for stirring up the drama in his roles in The Great Gatsby, Titanic, and the Wolf of Wall Street. He is also known for stirring up some drama with his vaping – especially during the SAG awards.
Some anti-vaping organizations present at the awards were not particularly happy seeing him enjoy his quick session and he was asked to put it away for the duration of the awards. It would seem that he sticks to using vape mods – specifically Innokin and Kangertech brands.
8. Jack Black
Jack Black is known for being one half of the band Tenacious D and also for his roles in Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, the King Kong remake, and School of Rock. He is an avid fan of using vaporizers and has been known to pose for pictures when frequenting vape shops.
As with many of the other celebrities here, he sticks to using e-cigs for his fix. He’s definitely not a vaping dilettante as he’s been spotted in a vape shop to pick up a brand new mod.
9. Snoop Dogg
The majority of the celebs mentioned already seem to gravitate towards e-liquid vaping but what about those dry herb users? Snoop Dogg is a hip-hop legend and is well known for his love of weed. He even came out with his own line of bongs, which is about as surprising as the sun rising in the morning.
Snoop Dogg Pounds is a line of spaceship inspired glass bongs that can be used with dry herb and concentrates. Snoop Dogg has also partnered with Grenco Science and has released his own brand of dry herb vaporizers.
10. Katy Perry
Where are all the ladies at? Well, we didn’t forget, we promise. Katy Perry, known for her pop singles like “I Kissed A Girl” and “Dark Horse”, has taken to the vaping scene as well. She has been known to frequent public events vaping with her e-cig.
While much isn’t known about what brand or e-liquid she prefers to use, we can only guess that it is one of the more common brands that the masses use. But hey, at least it’s purple.
11. Willie Nelson
We have another entry that is geared towards marijuana users. Willie Nelson, a country music icon and a well-known marijuana advocate, definitely loves his vapes. He is one of those vapers who enjoys using vaporizers that give a new meaning to “go big or go home”.
Pictured is his current vape of choice, the Vapir NO2. To check out other dry herb vapes, head over to our Dry Herb Vaporizer reviews.
12. The Big Show
The Big Show is known for his long-running career as a pro-wrestler and like much of the entries here has been known to vape during press conferences like in the one pictured. He has even been seen rocking some kick-a** vape apparel.
Clearly he is a huge fan of the vaping lifestyle. Judging from this picture, he seems to enjoy using vape mods which comes as no surprise – a big man needs to make some big clouds.
13. A$AP Rocky
A$AP Rocky, one of the hottest rappers in the game, has came out with his own brand of vape pen, courtesy of KandyPens. Known as the Flacko Jodye Vape Pen, it’s featured on our Best Vape Pens list and for good reason.
It has a beautiful wood finish, is compatible with oil and wax, busts out huge billows of clouds, and we can honestly say that the vapor quality on this thing is amazing! See why it’s ranked on our list?
Vaping has certainly picked up the pace over the years with the advancement in technology and the innovation from big vaping companies like PAX, JUUL, and KandyPens. Not only is there a vape for everyone with endless combinations on style, brand, color, and size but vaping is considered cleaner than smoking. This only reinforces the ideal that vaping is the wave of the future.
This is exactly why so many celebrities like Norman Reedus, Samuel L. Jackson, and Katy Perry have embraced the vaping lifestyle. We believe that no matter the reason – vaping is definitely something everyone can get on board with.
