Arizer Air 2 Review
TVG reviews products
The Good: Excellent vapor quality | Very easy to use | Extremely low maintenance | Good battery life
The Bad: Long charge time | Glass mouthpiece limits portability
The Bottom Line: I love nearly everything about the Arizer Air 2. I love its tasty, cool vapor, I love how easy it is to use, and I love how low-maintenance and worry free it is. I would have liked it to be a little more portable friendly, but the awesome vapor quality is worth the slight inconvenience.

You can get replacements for all of the various components of the Air 2 from the Arizer website. You can get some different components too, like a curved mouthpiece if you’re tired of the straight ones. Or, if you want to connect a water bubbler for even cleaner, cooler vapor, then you can get an attachment for that as well. Just remember to use the Arizer coupon code whenever you buy anything.
If you want to get the best out of the Air 2, then you’ll need a great grinder, and the SLX is one of the best. It grinds up my herb to the perfect vaping consistency every time. You can get one for yourself from Amazon.
Design and Features
General Design: The Air 2 has a slim cylindrical shape, almost like the hilt of a sword, so it feels really great to hold. Though I wouldn’t recommend that you start swinging it around like a sword, no matter how much you might be tempted. Overall, it’s a nice, simple design that doesn’t look or feel too busy.
Ease of Use: This is a pretty easy vape to use, even if you’re using it for the first time. The loading procedure is as simple as can be, since you don’t need any accessories. Just dip the end that’s opposite the mouthpiece in your herb and you’re done. The control buttons are well placed and the battery and mouthpiece are both easy to remove.
Portability: At just under five inches in height—without the mouthpiece—and about an inch in diameter, the Air 2 is easy to fit into your pocket. Of course, things get more complicated once you include the mouthpiece since there’s no way that the whole unit will fit into your pocket. The included carrying case does help but without it, the Air 2 with the mouthpiece attached is relegated to backpacks and purses.
Cleaning and Maintenance
You will be spending 99.99% of the time vaping because the Air 2 is one of the most fuss-free vapes you’ll ever use. The method of operation means that you never have to worry about cleaning any sticky residue from out of the herb chamber. After several sessions, all you need to do is soak the mouthpiece in isopropyl alcohol for a few hours, and then rinse it out with hot water. That’s it. And you only have to do it once in a blue moon.
How to Use
- Power up the Air 2 by holding down the power button for 3 seconds.
- Choose your temperature using the up and down arrows.
- Place the base of the mouthpiece into your herb, remove it and tap the packed herb slightly to create a slight gap between the herb and the base opening.
- Put the mouthpiece on the herb chamber and inhale to enjoy the vapor.
Temperature Range: 122°F to 428°F
Performance and Vapor Quality
Vaporizer Performance: The Air 2 takes about ninety seconds to heat up, which is on the long side for dry herb vapes. At least it stays cool to the touch while it’s in use.
Vapor Quality: The Air 2 shines in this category as the long glass mouthpiece produces cool, tasty vapor every time. There are no impure materials that can affect the taste of the vapor so you get the full flavor notes of the herb every time. Airflow resistance is very low, so it’s easy to enjoy that delicious vapor.
Battery Performance: The 18650 battery has a 3200 mAh capacity and lasts for about 65 to 80 minutes and charges up in about two hours. If you can’t wait that long, then don’t worry because pass-through charging is available. Of course, you could always just carry a spare battery to swap out when the current one dies.
Arizer Air 2 vs Arizer Solo 2 vs Atmos Astra 2
It’s the battle of the 2s! The Solo 2 is the bigger brother of the Air 2, and I do mean bigger since it’s one of the larger vapes out there. It has most of the same attributes as the Air 2 but it also has a bigger, longer-lasting battery. The Astra 2 is the smallest, least expensive, and most portable vaporizer here, though it also has a glass mouthpiece and precise temperature control. However, it has a narrower temperature range and shorter battery life than the bigger Arizer vapes.

The Arizer Air 2 is a sequel that’s a big improvement over the original. It provides cool, tasty vapor all thanks to the long, borosilicate glass mouthpiece. It feels good to hold too and it’s fairly portable without the mouthpiece attached. It’s less portable with the mouthpiece attached, but you won’t care as long as you get to enjoy that delicious vapor.
Who is it for: Anyone who likes great vapor quality in a trouble-free package.
Who is it NOT for: Anyone who wants a more portable or stealthy weed vaporizer.
